Thanks for visiting my site. Let me tell you a little bit about myself as a filmmaker.
I started making movies as a kid with my friends and our parents' video cameras, a story I have found is pretty typical among aspiring filmmakers of my generation. As I got older, I continued making video movies, but it wasn't until I was in my junior year of high school that I decided that I must become a director. I was reading the book We wish to inform you that in the morning we will be killed with our families about the Rwandan genocide. I was moved by the power of the narrative, and at that moment decided that I would seek to make films that, like this book, dealt with the most important issues with intellect and morality.
I began making films differently at this point – not as serious films, but as filmmaking that I took seriously. This is where the website begins. I won't go into too much detail, because each film has its own synopsis, but starting with Ghostbusters III, and going through The Shadow of the Night, my growth as a filmmaker I think is very noticeable. In addition to learning from my own productions, my education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been a tremendous asset in my maturation as a filmmaker.
